Southwell announced that six new providers have joined the medical staff of Tift Regional Medical Center. This includes two certified registered nurse anesthetists, three hospital medicine physicians, and one pediatrician.
“We are excited to have these new individuals on board,” said Monica Morris, Southwell’s Director of Physician Recruitment and Retention. “Each of these medical professionals complement our team of primary care physicians, specialists and advanced practice providers.”
Two new certified registered nurse anesthetists, Samantha Broadwater, CRNA and William Kreschollek, CRNA, administer and provide anesthesia-related care to patients at Tift Regional Medical Center and ambulatory surgery centers, before, during, and after surgery. Both Broadwater and Kreschollek received their education and training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Three new hospital medicine physicians at Tift Regional Medical Center include Nicholas Arnold, MD, Neslyne Augustin, MD, and Jordan Godbey, MD. These doctors provide care for hospitalized patients, managing treatment from admission to discharge.
Dr. Arnold earned his medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed internal medicine residency training at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Dr. Augustin graduated with a medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She followed with internal medicine residency training at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. Dr. Godbey holds a medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed internal medicine residency training at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Pediatrician Hannah Batten, MD has joined Affinity Pediatrics, located in Tifton at 39 Kent Road, Suite 5. She provides medical care for infants, children and adolescents as well as guidance on child health, wellness and development. Dr. Batten earned her medical degree from Mercer University in Macon and completed pediatric residency training at Navicent Health in Macon. She is accepting new patients.
