After an esteemed career in gastroenterology, Dr. C. Allen Woods has announced his retirement from active practice at Southwell Valdosta Gastroenterology effective September 29, 2023.
In a letter to his patients, Dr. Woods expressed, “It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement. Providing GI treatment and developing one-on-one relationships with my patients over these many years has been very rewarding.”
Dr. Woods’ commitment to patient care has been a cornerstone of his practice, earning him respect and gratitude from the community. His nurse practitioner, Kathryn Watt, FNP-C will be working alongside fellow gastroenterologist Eric Ward, MD, and Nancy Roe, FNP-C, ensuring a seamless transition in the management of Dr. Woods’ patients.
