We are excited to announce that Dr. Christopher Edens with Core Clinical Partners is the new Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC).
Dr. Edens will collaborate with nursing leadership, emergency medicine providers, and hospital administration to ensure the TRMC Emergency Department strives to provide high quality emergency care for the community.
With more than 28 years of experience, Dr. Edens earned his medical degree from Mercer University in Macon. He followed with an emergency medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta, training at Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital, Egleston Children’s Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
