Following the recent implementation of the Code Stroke Launchpad Process, the Tift Regional Medical Center Emergency Department (ED) achieved four stroke “wins” in December thanks to the efforts of the following staff members: Ryan McBrayer, EMT-P, Katie Brey, RN, Mackenzie Sellers, RN, and Harley Paulk, RN.
The Code Stroke Launchpad is a designated treatment area within the ED that is designed to provide even more efficient care for patients with stroke. Thanks to a successful implementation of the Launchpad, care teams are now seeing measurable improvements in efficiency, collaboration, and outcomes.
“These results in December 2025 reflect the dedication of our frontline staff to delivering timely, high-quality stroke care,” said Destiny Garmon, RN, ED Nurse Manager. “Thanks go to Ryan, Katie, Mackenzie, and Harley for their incredible work. Special appreciation also goes to Stroke Coordinator Brenda Stone, RN for her guidance and support during this rollout.”
