Junior Board Member Taylor Waldron “Takes the Cake”

Today we recognized Taylor Waldron, one of the outstanding members of our Junior Board of Directors, for demonstrating what true service excellence looks like in action.

While supporting patients and visitors, Taylor noticed the inconvenience and confusion caused by ongoing construction. Rather than simply observing, she showed exceptional discernment—recognizing not just the situation, but the impact it was having on others.

She took it a step further by demonstrating leadership and ownership, proactively bringing the concern forward and ensuring it was escalated to the appropriate team members. Even more impressive, she thoughtfully offered potential solutions, helping to create a better experience for those navigating our facility during this time.

Taylor exemplifies the empowerment to advocate for others, using her voice with confidence and purpose to ensure patients and visitors are supported. She also embodies the heart of a servant leader—putting the needs of others first, taking initiative without being asked, and leading through compassion and action.    Her actions reflect genuine compassion, accountability, and a deep commitment to making a difference.

For these reasons, we are proud to recognize Taylor for seeing the need, taking action and lifting others along the way.  She truly “Takes the Cake!”
