Hospice of Tift Area has earned a 5-star rating for the fifth consecutive refresh period.
“This accomplishment further recognizes our team’s continued commitment to quality, compassionate care,” said Tressie Mathis, Director of Hospice of Tift Area and Southwell Palliative Care Services.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires surveys to measure and assess the experiences of hospice patients and their caregivers. CMS publicly releases survey results and star ratings quarterly, with 5-stars being the highest rating. This recent recognition encompasses 12 quarters of CMS rolling data.
“We celebrated this accomplishment with lunch and dessert from The Mix frozen yogurt food truck,” said Mathis. “It is important to recognize and celebrate the dedicated team members who work every day to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families.”
