TRMC Foundation Donates Lifepak 15 Monitor and Defibrillator to HOPE EMS

The Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Foundation has donated a Lifepak 15 monitor and defibrillator to HOPE EMS as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance emergency cardiac care in the region.

This advanced device allows emergency responders to perform a diagnostic EKG while en route to the hospital. The 12-lead EKG data is transmitted directly to the on-call physician at Tift Regional Medical Center, giving medical teams critical minutes to prepare for the patient’s arrival. In cardiac emergencies, extra moments can save lives.

Funds for this purchase came from the Foundation’s 2025 “Hearts and Diamonds” Gala, which raised more than $123,000 in support of the Heart Safe Community Program.

“This donation is a direct reflection of our community’s generosity and commitment to saving lives,” said Mandy Brooks, Executive Director of the TRMC Foundation. “We are proud to support HOPE EMS with the tools they need to deliver rapid, high-quality care when every second counts.”
