Congratulations to Shay Hurley for being named Leader of the Quarter by Southwell. Shay serves as Director of Environmental Services (EVS) for both Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton and Southwell Medical in Adel. Shay received the honor on July 23 at Southwell’s quarterly Leadership Development Institute (LDI) conference held at the Southwell Community Events Center.
Shay was recognized for her integrity, self-awareness, reliability, respect, compassion, and resilience as a leader. Shay is pivotal in making sure Southwell’s hospitals provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Shay oversees more than 79 staff members whose duties include the cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, restrooms, the emergency department, public areas, and more. Great job, Shay!
